We include people of any age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, education, or culture. Not sure about faith? Only One’s faith was perfect. Let’s explore it together! God’s creation is incredibly diverse, and God said it was very good (Gen 1:31). God loves all of God’s children, and nothing can separate us from this love (Rom 8:39). We are unique individuals, made in the image of God (Gen 1:27). Come as you are, as God made you! Really. Because in our diversity we are better together!
We believe that through the grace of God alone sinful humanity’s relationship with God is being restored. Our sins are forgiven by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Our lives are changed through our faith in Jesus Christ as He calls us to love God and one another. We seek to be faithful and faith filled to this in community.
Rather than make the people adapt to fit the environment, we have adapted the environment to fit the people living with neuro and/or physio diversity. We invite all to come and experience God’s blessings of full community. We are all God’s children, and all are welcome to participate.children, and all are welcome to participate.
Our service is projected on a screen at the front of the worship area. All reading, responses, and songs are projected. We try to include visual ways to get the message to everyone, also. This may include story sticks, chalk art, items, balloons, or whatever seems to be a visual tool to help understand God’s message for us. Please let us know if there are specific ways we can help your family member more fully experience the love of God in our worship service
One of the main reasons this service exists is to provide a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to worship. Vocalizations or disruptions are simply considered part of making a joyful noise. However, if your family member becomes upset we have a “calm space” where they can relax until they want to return to the service.
Our worship service is relaxed. In the spirit of welcoming everyone, just be who you are. Some families enjoy the tradition of wearing “Sunday Best” and others prefer to enjoy the experience wearing shorts or jeans and a t-shirt. Our music and messages are easy to follow along while containing several layers of meaning.
